Since 2014, I’ve designed challenge coins for some of the leading companies in the military challenge coin market. My experience includes a decade with LENAJ Military Gear & Swag and contract design work with Merrick Designs, Medalio Designs, and Syndicate Coins.
Those twelve years taught me how to turn meaningful stories into designs that work in metal—balancing intricate artwork, sculpted detail, color, and the practical demands of production.
Today, I’m back with LENAJ, while building Lit Koinz as a home for custom collectibles for creators, businesses, gaming communities, and events.
Whatever the project, my approach stays the same: understand the story, respect the details, and create something people are proud to keep.

The Philosophy Behind the Coin
The face in the Lit Koinz logo is Marcus Aurelius. For me, he represents a philosophy that guides both life and work: keep going, keep learning, and give your best to the task in front of you.
His ideals of perseverance, humility, and responsibility shape how I approach design. Inspiration matters, but so does showing up—listening carefully, working through challenges, and refining an idea until it tells the right story. Every project is an opportunity to practice the craft and become a better designer.
That also means treating people and their stories with care. Whether a coin celebrates a community, represents a business, or marks a personal milestone, my responsibility is to understand what makes it meaningful and carry that meaning into the details.
Marcus Aurelius reminds me to put my energy into what I can influence: my effort, my decisions, and how I treat others. At Lit Koinz, that becomes a simple commitment: keep creating, take pride in the work, and make something worth keeping.
